  • Give priority to foods with a low glycaemic index (eg vegetables, whole wheat pasta \/ noodles)<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Avoid excessive consumption of fried foods<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Limit consumption of foods high in sugar, carbohydrates and fat<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Choose lean proteins (eg. Fish, meat, eggs, milk, beans after fully cooked).<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Eat green, leafy vegetables<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Eat fruits in two or three servings<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
